What does Laser Tattoo Removal feel like?

PicoSure® Pro’s ultra-fast pulses and specialized wavelengths work together to minimize the amount of heat that is transferred. Less heat means less damage to surrounding skin and less risk of injury.

PicoSure® Pro is the best technology available, and is the most comfortable, and most effective laser treatment method out there, and because of its effectiveness, treatments are fast - typically under 10 minutes - and you’ll require fewer treatments overall than with older technologies.

The sensation of the laser light on skin is uncomfortable and may feel like a slight pinprick or the sensation of heat. Some people find the level of discomfort similar to that of getting a tattoo. These sensations may last for a few hours.

Your clinician at FADE will make sure that your treatment is as comfortable as possible. We use cooling air throughout your treatment, and we advise on afterare and treatments such as cooling gels, packs or painkillers that will help make your recovery as smooth as possible.

Before your treatment, we carry out a complete assessment of your skin type, and your tattoo, so we can use the appropriate level of laser energy. We will carry out a spot test, which allows you to see what the treatment is like before starting into your plan.
